Blackmagic has just announced its new Cinema camera, wow the specs speak for themselves. Specs include: – New Super35mm sized sensor instead of Micro 4/3 on the BMPCC 4K – Records 6K at 6144×3456 at up to 50fps and 6144×2560 (2.4:1 aspect ratio) at up to 60fps
– Records slow motion at up to 120fps in 2.8K resolution
– Active Canon EF Mount instead of Micro 4/3.
– Autofocus available using compatible lenses (I’m unsure how good it will be)
– 13 stops of dynamic range with Blackmagic RAW Recording
– Dual native 400 and 3200 ISO up to 25,600
– Records to SD Cards and CFast 2.0 media
– Generation 4 Color Science (same as the Ursa Mini Pro G2)
– Powered with Canon LP-E6 batteries and yes, there is a battery grip.
